a wider public exemplifies the shift away from pop corn munching, chewing-gum-for-the eyes, lowest common denominator, mass produced factory films which have no real connection to people's lives.
The judges applaud their efforts and hope that the award will encourage the team to make more and possible show a way forward to aspiring Irish film makers.
